Scrobble links
Scrobble links connects your Media account to your Last.fm username.
Why it matters
Media stores play history for the whole instance. Without a link, it has no way to know which of that history is yours — so anything scoped to you comes back empty:
- Discoveries (me) in the activity feed
- Your personal charts
- Your play counts on album and track pages
The library and everyone-scoped views work fine without it. It is the personal views that go quiet.
Setting it up
Enter your Last.fm username. Existing history is matched retroactively, so the personal views fill in as soon as the link exists — you do not have to wait for new plays.
More than one
An account can carry more than one link, which matters if you have scrobbled under different usernames over the years.
